Warranty – Indoor Collection

 

At The Veranda Collection, we take pride in the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of our casual furniture line. Our attention to detail in design, materials and construction is unyielding – and so is our commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Veranda Collection warrants the products covered by this disclosure to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a term of one (1) year or a total of twelve (12) months, from date of delivery.

 

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

 

Please note that our warranties do not cover failure due to any repairs or modifications to the product after purchase, accidental damage, abuse, misuse, or normal wear and tear, including: fading, scratched or chipped finishes, weathering under normal weather conditions, staining or discoloration. The limited warranties described above are extended to the original purchaser of the product only.

 

Warranty –Outdoor Collection

 

What Is Covered: The Veranda Collection warrants its products to be free from manufacturing defects to the original purchaser with proof of purchase; the maximum liability is the product purchase price. Proper maintenance, including routine cleaning, replacement of worn glides, lubrication of mechanical parts and removal of products in high winds or severe climates is the sole responsibility of the owner and is required to keep this warranty in effect.

 

What Is Not Covered:
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from improper maintenance, misuse, negligence, normal wear, abuse, accident, alteration or tampering. Accessories, cushions, fabrics, pillows, and glass are not covered by this warranty. Repair or modification by anyone other than The Veranda Collection or an approved agent voids the warranty. The Veranda Collection makes no additional warranty, either express or implied, written or oral, regarding any warranty of merchantability, title, or fitness for a particular purpose. Additional exceptions may apply.

 

How Long The Product Is Under Warranty:
Residential Use: Three years from the receipt of product. Exclusions: Umbrellas. Commercial/Hospitality Use: One year from the receipt of product.

 

What We Will Do: The Veranda Collection, upon its own review of the claim and circumstances, may repair or replace the product or provide parts to satisfy the claim, at its discretion. We will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions upon a final determination that the claim is valid.

 

What We Will Not Do:
Pay shipping or transportation charges or pay to repair or replace the product, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

 

What You Must Do To Obtain Warranty Service: If you suspect a manufacturing defect, photos (digital preferred) of claimed products must be submitted to the attention of The Veranda Collection prior to any judgment regarding defective items, along with a written description of the defect and any related circumstances thought to have caused the defect. No items will be accepted without prior written approval from The Veranda Collection. After receiving a return authorization number from The Veranda Collection, return the product in its original carton (or equivalent) for shipping to The Veranda Collection, place the return authorization number prominently on the outside of the package. Returns not bearing return authorization information may be refused. Please include a copy of your dated invoice, keeping the original invoice.

Source Outdoor Collection – Residential & Commercial Use

 

Our limited 3-year residential warranty covers all defects in workmanship and materials of the SOURCEOUTDOOR product. A separate 1-year warranty applies to our fabrics/cushions. The SOURCEOUTDOOR warranty does not cover freeze damage within the frames. It is very important NOT to store the furniture upside down as it will allow water into the frames. At our option, SOURCEOUTDOOR will repair or replace any part of the product, or the entire product if it is defective in material or workmanship. Repair or replacement will be made at no cost to you other than your cost for shipping to and from our facility. We may require inspection by a warehouse or dealer representative prior to any repairs or replacement.

 

 

Sunbrella Fabric Warranty

 

WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD

SUNBRELLA FURNITURE FABRICS AND ALL OTHER SUNBRELLA FABRICS

 

For installations prior to November 1, 2008, the warranty coverage period is three years from the original purchase date.

 

For installations on or after November 1, 2008, the warranty coverage period is five years from the original purchase date.

 

· What this warranty protects against: This warranty protects against Sunbrella fabric becoming unserviceable due to color or strength loss from normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew and atmospheric chemicals.

· What this warranty covers: This warranty covers Sunbrella fabric only.

· What this warranty does not cover: This warranty does not cover normal care and cleaning; damage from misuse or abuse; improper installation;    or costs associated with replacement of the fabric, including labor and installation.

·  Limits to the warranty: Source Outdoor reserves the right to inspect the fabric submitted for claim. Proof of purchase may be required.

·  What we will do: After the manufacturers approval, Source Outdoor will supply new equivalent fabric to replace the fabric that becomes unserviceable.

·  Who to contact: Contact your Source Outdoor sales or customer service representative for warranty claims.

·  Warranty Coverage Period: Performance improvements introduced November 1, 2008 allowed Glen Raven to increase the warranty period for Sunbrella fabrics.

 

 

Source Outdoor – Aluminum Warranty

 

LIFETIME WARRANTY

 

(Extruded Aluminum Made in the United States)

 

Source Outdoor, Inc. warrants its aluminum frames and welds from breaking forever. If a frame or weld-fail, Source Outdoor will, at its discretion, repair or replace any frame that has structurally failed during normal use and that has received regular care and maintenance. This is a limited warranty. Paint Finishes that are properly maintained are guaranteed for five years. *To maintain the paint finishes, wash with a mild soap and warm water solution. Prepare a solution of 1/4 cup of soap per gallon of water. Use a soft sponge or cleaning rag to clean the frames. Rinse with clean water. It is recommended that Furniture near coastal areas, the salt spray must be cleaned from frames on a regular Bi-monthly basis or finish may oxidize, discolor and/or blister. Furniture that is away from salt air environments should be cleaned quarterly or as needed. Salt spray build-up over time without proper cleaning will deteriorate the frames finish. Finish failure due to improper cleaning will void the Source Outdoor warranty.
Sling and Cushion workmanship is warranted for one year. The fabric manufacturer may offer additional warranty. Vinyl straps are guaranteed for five years against breakage from normal usage.

 

 

The following is NOT covered under our warranty:

 

·      Failure of furniture frames, parts or welds arising from neglect or unreasonable, abusive or improper use is not covered by this warranty.

·      Normal fading, discoloration or scratching resulting from normal wear.

·      Stretching of fabric or upholstery materials resulting from normal wear.

·      Stains due to contact with tanning lotions or other chemicals including but not limited to cleaning solutions and/or pool chemicals. See care and maintenance and chart on our website.

·      Acts of nature, including fire, wind, flood and freeze damage.

·      Non-proprietary items such as glass, other tabletop surfaces or umbrellas. These items may be warranted by their manufacturers.

·      Freight damage. All sales are made FOB factory. Title to the merchandise passes to the freight carrier and to the purchaser at time of shipment.

·      Return freight after one year from date of purchase.¨Cost of field repairs NOT authorized in writing by Source Outdoor, Inc.

Returning Merchandise

 

Please note that proof of purchase is required for a refund. Upon return, your item will be inspected, and exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state and local laws. Shipping charges are non-refundable with the exception of damaged or defective merchandise. Return shipping and re-stocking fees may apply. We offer a one-time price adjustment when an original sales receipt or proof of purchase is presented within 30 days of order delivery or purchase from a store.

 

Stocked Furniture

 

We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment, and also require your inspection and signature upon delivery. Should you discover a defect in your furniture, please contact us at (305) 992-1178 immediately. Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through an entryway will be refunded in merchandise or store credit only.

 

Stocked Non-Furniture Items

 

We accept returns for Non-Furniture Items within 30 days, with proof of purchase.

 

Custom Orders

 

Custom orders are custom-made upon order and are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. Customers will have 24 hours from placement of custom orders to cancel. After 24 hours, a 50% deposit will be retained by The Veranda Collection and cannot be refunded.

 

Final Sale & Clearance Items

 

Clearance items purchased at The Veranda Collection, are considered final-sale items and cannot be returned.

All prices in our catalogs and online are in US dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change.
